Girl Time with the Prime Minister (yup, that’s what we said!) Yesterday Cosmo was invited to meet not only the PM (firm handshake, smelled nice) but just as excitingly, Alexandra Chong - founder and CEO of brand-new women’s social networking site,Luluvise.com. I headed over to Luluvise HQ to find out why the website’s got ladies’ tongues wagging and guys quaking in their hi-tops (and er, what exactly our Prime Minister has to do with it.). Two years ago Alexandra had a great Valentine’s Day story to share with her girlfriends, but didn’t feel comfortable posting it on Facebook. Three telephone calls, seven text messages and two Skype calls later, she wondered, “Why can’t I tell this story to all of my friends at once??!!” Fed up at the time and energy it took in sharing the goss, Chong pictured a space where women could quickly share their triumphs, dilemmas and disasters with their closest friends at the same time - where it’s girl time, all the time! And so, Luluvise was born – an idea so exciting that even DC wants in on the action!
